 | Route 18 - Las Presas de Castilléjar. |
 | Time: 0 mins. Location: Parking area on the main road 7km north of Castilléjar. GPS: 530039 / 4177855 | Comments: We follow the asphalt road from the north of Castilléjar which takes us along the eastern bank of Rio Guardal for about 7km. There are some turn-offs from this road, but we always follow the asphalted road. We see a flat area by the side of the road, where we park. We then follow the road north for 100m whereby we see a gorge to our right at 530066 / 4178014. |

 | Time: 15 mins. Location: Gorge. GPS: 530246 / 4178172 | Comments: We follow the gorge to its end, wondering at the geology that makes us expect cowboys and indians to come round the corner at any moment. We turn round and come back down the gorge about half way where we see a track going up to our right (north). |
 | Time: 30 mins. Location: Fields. GPS: 530564 / 4178517 | Comments: We continue on this track, climbing gently when we come across a tractor track which we follow to the left. |
 | Time: 40 mins. Location: Back at main road. GPS: 529657 / 4178466 | Comments: We now come to a cliff looking down to the road. We climb down the rocks, which is very easy and when on the road we head north whereby the asphalt becomes dirt. |
 | Time: 50 mins. Location: Las Presas GPS: 529187 / 4179080 | Comments: We now arrive at Las Presas which boasts barbecues and picnic tables. |
 | Time: 1hr 10 mins. Location: River walk. GPS: 528811 / 4179380 | Comments: We follow the track along the bank of the Rio Guardal as far as we wish, enjoying the peace of nature. Finally we come to an open field which is about as far as the path goes. We turn round and make our way back to the transport. END OF WALK. |
