 | Time: 25 mins. Location: Bridge GPS: 522289 / 4194586 | Comments: We see the bridge on our left, which we cross - or if we are feeling brave, the stepping stones. |
 | Time: 45 mins. Location: Path towards the Cerrada GPS: 521836 / 4194230 | Comments: We follow the path after turning left once we have crossed the bridge. The path here is quite difficult to follow and is overgrown. From here we can see the Cerrada de Túnez (the gorge) clearly as well as having a superb view down the Castril valley. |
 | Time: 1hr 10 mins. Location: River GPS: 521660 / 4194035 | Comments: We now find ourselves at the confluence of the Barranco de Túnez and the Castril river. This area is quite overgrown so expect some scratches from thistles etc. |

Location: Cerrada de Túnez GPS: 521550 / 4194103 | Comments: The walk turns round here as the terrain becomes steeper and more difficult to traverse the closer we get to the gorge itself. Anyone with the abilities of a mountain goat can attempt to get closer to the gorge but the ground is friable with a lot of scree. |
