The cave house town of Castilléjar is just 17 miles from Castril. Set in some lovely countryside, the town boasts restaurants and bars, a museum and a church. Of great interest to geologists, the town is built on a rock outcrop into which hundreds of cave houses are built. In the Summer the artificial lake, which has a bar-restaurant, is open to the public.
